The C7 Corvette Z06's supercharged LT4 V8.
I went to the 2016 D.C. Auto Show about a week and a half ago and took ~385 photos with my Samsung Galaxy S6. It was working fine up until after the show, but it was lagging ever since then and finally decided to crap out on me earlier today. I was hoping you guys could give me some advice.
I thought that by deleting the photos that I took at the show from the phone’s Gallery app, I could mitigate most of the lag, but that didn’t help much at all. I was using Chrome on the S6 when it suddenly changed to the “Powered by Android” screen and stayed there until the battery ran out. I could make the screen go blank temporarily by holding the volume, power and home buttons, but there wasn’t anything else I could do.
If I try to charge the phone, it’ll show a graphic of the empty battery charging (though this screen doesn’t change with the level of charge, the charging LED doesn’t come on even though the phone is charging, and the fast-charging doesn’t work). I tried entering recovery mode by holding the volume-up and power buttons down, but that didn’t work. I can’t get the phone to boot up successfully.
Any ideas? Have a photo that I took with the S6 at the auto show for your time.

On Galaxy devices, recovery mode is accessed by holding the power, volume up,and home buttons. Weird, I know. You can factory reset from there.

Did you take the battery out after shutting it down, waiting 5 minutes, then trying to re-insert the battery and turning it on in recovery mode?

S6 is like an Iphone you can’t manually pull the battery without a soldering iron. The key combination is the only way to force boot it as a consumer.

Did not know that. I’m not a fan of the Android flagship phones.

No worries, I have an S6 as well as the only other flagship choice at the time was the less than impressive HTC. The S6 looks a whole lot like an iphone 6, I think that is a result of the Samsung vs. Apple legal battles.

Yeah, the S6's battery is non-removable - it’s one of the controversial changes that they made since the S5. It didn’t really bite me in the ass until now, LOL.
